Patsy and Patty

This story is about a little girl named Patsy
It is Fiction.

Patsy is very shy and fearful, she is having trouble talking to people, and she does not feel that she belongs in this world.
Her only friends are two imaginary friends, she feels safe with them. They go everywhere with her.

You see she is being mentally and physically abused and she does not know who to talk to about it. She does not know what to say. So she keeps it a secret the abuse has been going on for many years. She keeps it a secret, because she feels that it is her fault that it is happening. She feels real dirty, she feels like she is a bad person.

Her mother blames her for it and that makes her feel even worse. So she to talks to her imaginary friends, who give her comfort. The kids at school tease her because she sits alone and does not want to play. She some times talks out loud to her imaginary friends so the school kids tease her.

One day she was crying, and she could not stop crying. Her Aunt Patty asked her “what was wrong”. Patsy said nothing is wrong so Patty her aunt said, “Well if nothing is wrong then why are you crying?” Patsy said “I cannot talk about it,” well Patty was wondering what is wrong with Patsy so she started to talk with her.

Patty asked her how her day was and talked small talk with Patsy. They both talked for hours in the park and took a walk, they stopped to get some ice cream it was a nice sunny day out side it was perfect weather, not to cold not to hot.

Well Patsy had to get going soon so Patty told her “tomorrow I will pick you up from school” Patsy said, “ok great.”

The next day at school the bell rang the school day was over. Patsy is now walking out to the front of the school she sees Patty they ended up driving to the beach it was about an hour away from them so they went to the beach just to watch the waves and the beauty of the beach. They talked and talked, laughed a lot they had a great time. Patsy felt better; Patsy asked Patty “do you believe in God?” Patty said, “Yes do you?” Patsy said, “I do not know,” Patty said” I believe in God because God is a part of us all.” Patty told Patsy to look at the ocean and see how beautiful it is. Patsy said, “Yes it is beautiful.”

Patty said “I think of God as being the ocean the ocean water is always there and there is no end no matter how far you look into the ocean you cannot find where it stops that is how I feel about God.” “There is no beginning, can you see were the ocean starts?” “I can’t so there must be no beginning and no end. God is like the air we breathe we cannot see the air but we know it is there we can feel the air the breeze against our face.” Or if your riding in a car and you put your arm out the window what do you feel? Patsy said, “I feel the breeze.” Patty said, “Yes that’s it, the wind that messes our hair up. Patty says “that is what God is He is there with us all the time we just cannot see Him as a human being. We see him differently but we can feel Him if we pay close attention.”

“We are never alone and when we keep our mind, and eyes open we can hear and feel God. We don’t hear God in human words but we do hear God through nature through birds, through the trees, the sun and the rain, we can see God in everything. We can hear God in everything.” Patty says to Patsy “God is part of you Patsy, God is holding you and keeping you safe.” Patsy said “what do you mean how can that be?” Patty said “God is a part of you and me just as He is a part of the trees and birds and ocean and sky He is all and we are part of that all.” Patsy was silent for a while then Patsy said “hey I think I understand, God is the feeling I get when I listen to beautiful music, and when I listen to the birds in the morning I get a chill and I feel comfortable and I feel good inside.” Patty says, “Yes you got it you sure did. God is with you all the time when you feel alone and in fear just talk to God. God will be there. You can write to God and talk to God you can even sing to God. Whatever way you feel comfortable talking to God. God can hear you no matter what way you choose to talk to Him and after you talk to God, give yourself a little time sitting and listening you may hear nothing but if you sit long enough you will hear and feel something that will make you feel good and you will know it when it happens. It may happen fast or it may happen slowly but it will happen. You’re God’s beautiful child don’t forget that. You can tell God anything and you can ask God to help you with anything that you may need help with.”

Patty continues to say to Patsy, “Ask God to bring someone into your life to help you if that is what you need.” Patsy said, “How did you know I needed someone? Patty said I did not know but you’re human and we all need people at some point in our lives.”

Well Patsy left for home and she did exactly what Patty said, she talked to God while walking home and she talked to God in the shower, every where Patsy went she talked to God, and before she went to bed she talked to God and then became quiet and listened. She felt a beautiful feeling she knew what she had to do about the situation she could not go to her mother so she went to Patty and told her about the abuse, Patty and Patsy went to Patsy’s mom and they talked about the abuse. Patsy’s mother put her arms around Patsy and told her, “ I am so sorry I did not believe you.” Patsy’s mother said, “I love you Patsy. I will do what ever I have to-do to help.”

Patsy’s mother called the Police and told them what happened and why they waited so long to call the police. The police came to the house and arrested Patsy’s father. Patsy’s father is now in prison. Patsy is living with her mother. Patsy is safe and happy. Patsy’s mother divorced her husband.

This shows how God works. Pasty’s aunt was the person who God used to help Patsy. Patsy and Patty were the two people God used to help Patsy’s mother hear the truth of what was going on. So this shows that there is a God.

Patsy now has turned into a strong young lady who loves God. She spoke up for herself. She is not a victim any more.
Thanks to God, Patsy is a strong and happy lady who now has two children of her own and a wonderful husband who loves her.
