~ Last But Never Least ~
Last but never least...
When we put ourselves before others
we do both an injustice...
Giving of our time and self
is so rewarding to the spirit...
Love goes out, not inward...
We steal our own blessings
when we try to hold on to what we deem ours!
To those that are given much...
Much is expected...
We aren't to give from our abundance...
We are to give, even from our lacking!
Don't put your treasures here on earth...
where dust and rust can erode...
We are given great responsibility
to what has been provided us...
Don't think for a minute
that you have control of such things!
In a moment...
all that you hold dear...
can be taken from you!
Nothing can take your self respect...
or your integrity...
Only you can throw that away!
So when you consider first
yourself...
Think on what is best for your spirit...
God has said,
That which is done for the least of mine...
you do for me!
We are our brother's keeper!
Consider others always...
and remember....
The last shall be first!
