Reflections In My Mirror
Whom, have you become?
Whom, do I see?
I look in a mirror ,
you just can't be me.
I see the wrinkles
I see your gray hair
I see a person who lost their spark and just don't care.
How can this be? You've become a stranger
Your face has aged.
Your hair turned white.
This seemed to happen over night..
I looked in the mirror it gave me such an awful fright.
I just noticed I'M aging over night..
What a sight this old woman who looks and stares back at me.
What a prune ,
I dare her for trying to be me..
But I have to admit something does
look familiar about her you see.
So I guess It might really ~ really be me.
I know I'll get along great with this old face
Who stares back at me with pity in her eyes.
Wow, that old prune has nerve to think she is me.
Get lost old woman! I'm young can't you see.
As I smiled at her in my mirror.
She looked back at me
She, rolled her pitiful old eyes
As if to say who the hell did you think you'd see?
Some sexy young movie star?
Dream on honey, that would be taking things way too dang far.
Look at me , do I look sexy?
You old damn thing
She, stuck out her ole tongue
As she smiled ever so sweetly with her wrinkled mouth,
and her old dang face .
She had so many wrinkles It was a disgrace.
But I have to admit she had something about her
That sweet loving old dear.
That was the moment I knew we would grow,
old and happy together .
Because you know,
one old bat needs the other.
We have just to look in this mirror to see her
and close our eyes to see me.
What a reflection we are
just little ole, me ..
