Love Potion 99
He swept me off my feet,
I knew this couldn't be a thing in heat.
I felt like I was his every night,
But then something shone more light.
I kissed and I turned my bed on its side,
And wished that I could only hide.
My life had no barriers beyond my control,
I wanted the best thing out there to make me whole.
Love Potion 99 got me back on my feet,
I was kissing every guy who spoke kind words sweet.
I couldn't help myself I was falling in love,
I'm starting to blame it all on the love dove.
So when I came back home that night,
I realized the potion was out of sight.
My dreams were thinking this was all the real deal,
But I know it was all just a dream by the way I feel.
