HELLO AND GOOD BYE
THIS IS DEDICATED TO A FRIEND OF MINE KAYTE AND HER DEDICATION TO HER LAND

She stood on the hill side,
Wind tugging at her hair,
The rain , beginning to fall
Yet unable to leave this spot.
She came to say good bye,
She came to say hello.
The seasons are changing.
Everything is fresh and new.
Touched by the newness,
And awed by the sad retreat.
She feels they are all with her
Yet it is a new beginning.
She knows she must return
To take the step into the future
Look beyond these troubled times
So she goes back to nature.
Mother earth needs her help
The past is talking in her ear,
It weighs upon your shoulders,
Never to slow you down but guide you
She turns now to face the beginning
To face the end of an era of sadness.
She will not forget it but move forward.
Never chasing the day away, embracing it.
