' THINKIN 'BOUT LIFE '
There are times in my life
When I've not done right
Things I should have said
Left for another night
Things I should have done
But waited for another day
Thinking that perhaps
What I ignored , would just go away
Sometimes I've been unkind
Made things right in my own mind
Not realizing how I might have hurt others
How I might have made them feel
Not knowing how long, It may take for them to heal
Sometimes by being foolish
Sometimes by being proud
Just trying to do thngs right
Not really knowing how
Not always able to say , I'm sorry
Then sometimes, that's not enough
Not always able to make ammends
Who would have thought life could be so tough
I guess as I go forward
I should remember the past
When all is said and done
I am passionate about life itself
And what it has to offer
Believing in God and living right
Trying to live my life as he would like
Believing you reap what you sow
So who's to know
One day, I might get this Life Stuff right !!
