WHAT IS LOVE
Love is the sunshine after the rain, blue skies after the gray,
love, that's what you are to me, each night, and everyday.
Love is giving and sharing, loving someone other than yourself,
love is being needed and also caring sweetheart, that's what you do for me.
Love is weathering the storms of life together, being together come what may,
holding on to each other, each and every day.
Another year has rolled around, another time to start anew,
another year to make life wonderful, the perfect time to start over with you.
I honor you, on this special day, today, above all others,
This day was made for you and me, my one and only lover.
Love, you are my life, someone to turn to when things are bad
the father of my wonderful children, and the best friend i've ever had.
Love is having and keeping faith, i have faith in you,
Love is wanting life to work, and wanting your dreams to come true.
If somethhing should happen to us, i'll keep my memories of you, with me, always,
I'll take them out, and revisit them, when i'm lonely for you
then we'll be together for the rest of our days.
