Each night as I look at the beautiful stars
I remember the one that always was ours
In the absence of you I try and be strong

People around me simply do not always understand
I guess maybe I feel I am sinking in quick sand

As I look at the star that together each night we were always wishing
As I look at the stars your star gives me strength and comfort to see me through another night
As I wish to myself that I could just hold you again in my arms so tight
There are questions I seek but the answers are very few
Most of all I find myself forever missing you
I wish upon the stars to spend even one more moment in time with you along the way to
