In The Absence Of You
Wind blowing ~ Howling in the night
Rain hitting the window
Thunder crashes
Lightening strikes
Just adds to my mood,
of sadness that surrounds this pitiful heart of mine.
Letting out sighs
Shedding tears
Most of all letting out my fears
Watchful eyes seem to
surround me and capture me in their trance.
Watching lurking behind a fence,
Shadows form within my grips.
Screaming heard within my head
Roaring wind
Sounds If someone is tapping on the window
Feeling the presence of someone.
Yet, no one is there
Alone, I sit ~ Alone, I stare
Wishing someone was here
In the absence of you
I, still wish you where here.
