Where did you get us Mommy?

Where did you get us,
Where did you get us,
Mommy?

From hospital
From nursery
Or stores selling babies?

What was the cost?
What was the mortgage?
What was the down pay?

Did we come in soft clothes
Or totally naked (Hi, Hi) ?

Children, my dear treasure
My dear three little pigs
You were all adopted
At a little back street

In cold, cold winter mornings
You were the lovely warm treats
I took a big, big mortgage
from heaven where it down sheets

Now I am deeply in debt
I have to pay with my life
And with my love, with my time
And most of my precious night

Did you adopt Daddy too?
