~ I'm With Her ~
How totally exciting!
I can't believe, in just a few hours a limousine and driver
will be picking me up, and taking me to the airport!
I am going to New York!
Not just any old trip or vacation...
I will be accompanying my actress daughter...
as she makes some public appearances...
She is an international model and actress...
Currently on Baywatch at this time!
As I arrive in New York...
I am met once again by a driver...
Just seeing this guy holding a sign with my name on it...
I felt like I was dreaming...
Pinch me someone...
'Hey! Not you!
After settling in at my hotel...
My daughter arrives...
We do the normal mother daughter thing...
Hugs...Kisses...More hugs!
I miss her so much!
It's already nightfall...
So off to our own rooms for some rest...
We have to be up before the sun the next morning...
My daughter is filming a commercial
for Bally's Gym...
right before their grand opening a few hours later
First, I watch on the set...
Then I mingle with all the corporate executives
and other famous guests!
As people introduce themselves to me...
the look on their face is puzzled...
Like ' Do I know you?'
I offer up that I am the mother...
' I'm with her'
Then out to dinner with the owner of Revlon Cosmetics
at an exclusive restaurant..
When I say exclusive...
I mean exclusive...
All tables are reserved for life by their patrons...
Each person's meal, is prepared by the chef,
after he has first greeted you at your table...
He offers his suggestions...
then custom designs your meal!
After a night of dinner and dancing...
We are up early to go on the set of the Howard Stearns Show...
I waited in the green room with Dennis Green...
a rather famous comedian...
I could hear the interview from the green room
( It's not green by the way)
A few producers came in and interviewed me!
They asked the usual
'How does it feel' questions!
When the broadcast was over
my daughter and I...
accompanied Howard into his office...
He is so tall, and so friendly and unassuming!
Nothing at all like I had expected!
We hurry off, as we are due at the
New York Stock Exchange!
My daughter was to open the Exchange that morning...
Wall Street here we come!
My daughter was introduced and after a few pleasantries...
She rang the bell!
Exactly at 9:00am Eastern Standard Time...
Let the games begin!
I was so excited to be in the office of the president of the Exchange
He was so charming and inviting...
Making us feel right at home...
We were given a tour of the floor of the market...
Wall Street is just a street...
But the Exchange is so amazing to watch!
Now it's back to the hotel for a little break...
Then off to Fifth Ave for some girl time...
Did I mention the shopping?
Oh, yes!
Time for this Cinderella to turn in her pumpkin...
I'm saying goodbye to my lovely daughter...
and heading back to reality!
