You Are
You are my heartbeat and my soul's delight.
You are the reason the stars shine at night.
You are my soul mate and taught me so much.
You taught me to feel, you taught me to touch.
You are the flowers that sway in the breeze.
You are the forest and you are the trees.
You are as vital to me as my breath
and life without you would only be death.
You placed every star into my hand.
You showed me more worlds than I understand.
You are the light that shines bright in the night.
You are the reason I live in the light.
You are my sweet home, my soul's domicile.
You are forever the reason I smile.
You are my best friend, I'm lucky I know.
There's no other place I could ever go.
