Together over the pond we softly glide
At times life can be such a bumpy ride
Years ago I have a decision to make
To trust in love knowing my heart may break
But looking back now I smile and know each day
That I made the right decision to spend my life with you along the way
Over the years we have always maintained a strong connection
Sharing our love and tenderness with warm and loving affection
Upon my face each day you always make me smile
For it was the love we share that for me you always went the extra mile
We have always given one another strength along the way
It was your words of wisdom and love that gets me through each day
We have had our ups and downs like everyone does too
But our love flourishes stronger each day to always help us through
You have been there to help me dry away my tears
Helping me to overcome my hurdles and also my fears
You have given me beautiful wings and strength that I can soar the skies with you each day
Most of all you are my soul mate so gentle and true in every way
Soar with me darling, come take my hand to
For each day I am so deeply in love with you
Hold me in your loving arms as we watch a beautiful sunset along the way
Exploring the beauty all around us each day
