~*~ My Legacy ~*~
If I should not see tomorrow,
How would they remember me?
Would they see past all my flaws
And see my legacy?
Would I be remembered
For all I USED to be;
Or, instead, would my love
Linger in their memories...
My love for those around me,
Whose lives mingled in with mine...
Would my Light for Jesus
Continue on to shine??
Would the soft words I have spoken,
The words said in humble prayer,
Be remembered beyond the words
Once spoken in haste and fear?
Would the words I have written
Of His Truth in Love and Grace
Be remembered far beyond the time
They've forgotten my aging face?
Lord...
If I should not see tomorrow,

And see my legacy?
