Umbrella

When the sky let's go with a cold and lonesome rain
I feel so protected in your arms once again.

If not for you, what would I do?
You are my life, my life is you.

You are my umbrella in the cold, lonesome rain.
You are my defender against the coming pain.

Where would I be? I just can't see
another possibility.

You've made me so happy, I treasure all your love.
Truly, it's a gift that rained down from up above.

A perfect time, a life sublime,
for we like words together rhyme.
