Hilltop Garden

In my garden with colors mixed
here I sit with mine eyes fixed.

Summer breezes fill this hill
budding blossoms, It’s God’s will.

Over yonder on open plains
flying hawks make heavy gains.

Mine eyes search, I turn my head
birds swoop down on something dead.

Distant hills send echoing calls
sudden growl of thunder bolt falls.
