Dat Ole Croc

I saw a alligator in my neighbor's yard
I say, Rufus, dare's a gator in yore yard
He say, Dat's a croc!
I say, no! Dare really is a gator dare
He say, Dat's a croc!
I say, You betta look at dat gator
He say, Dat's a crocodile
Like dem in da Nile
I say, What you gonna do bout dat?
He say, Crocodile soup
Crocodile shoes
Crocodile dis an dat
Maybe a crocodile hat
Jus den dat croc 's mouth go SNAP
Ole Rufus jump down all mad
An dat croc done been had
Rufus arm lock roun' his jaw
He say, Come on out here paw!
Dat croc commenced rollin!
knockin stuff down like he was bowlin
Rufus gittin' bruise afta bruise
Dat's sumpin I wouldn't choose
Rufus say, Paw! Git out here!
His daddy say, When I finish dis beer
Den he come strollin outside
He say, Rufus, Dat look like a nice ride
His daddy be downright mean
A reglar fightin machine
He pick up a rock
An smack that dang croc
He take a rope an tie up dat croc's face
He say, Dat ole croc be a disgrace
Git on out o' here Johnny boy
Dis ain't no lil ole toy
We done got work to do
Kaint be watchin o'er you
I left wid pleasure an a big ole grin
An ne'er seen dat croc again
