When love comes softly
Knocking upon one’s
Heart door
We wonder,
If we should answer
Should we let another in?
To explore
To explore the feelings
That would hold inside
Feeling’s we want to show
And share
With that special someone
In our lives
Sometimes we are afraid
That we will get hurt
It has happened before
Perhaps the second time
A love dies
The pain is worse
Life without love
Is painful,
It’s true
But to give away,
one’s heart
Is not always,
an easy thing
To do
We are taking a chance
When we give our love
And heart away
Will the other person,
Treat it kindly
Or will they make it
Break
Life without love
Is like
Song without a melody
Like a bird without
A song
Love can be,
so wonderful
But
It can also cause
Our tears to fall
To never know love
From another
Not including,
family and friends
To never know,
love from a spouse
Is no way to live life
I believe this to be true
Love between two people
Is a wonderful, glorious
Feeling
No other can compare
When two hearts,
join together
And two become one
And their hearts,love,
and life
They share
