Oh Spirit
Sometimes
in a moment
the spirit feels weakness
a loss from longing
you bring me back to life
I feel your heart beating
inside of mine
keeping the rhythm alive
kisses sent to you
in a dream of love
caress me with wonder
awaken me with tenderness
hold me against your spirit
we brighten the darkness
of this cruel world
fear does not overcome us
evil cannot rule
one spirit is strong
two are powerful
among many we are few
we walk not alone
tight is the grasp
no one can remove
nor enter our paradise
they can long or wish
two spirits as one
the glory and wonder
bestowed upon us

you cannot hide
your brightness is too strong
