Pray For The Future
Looking out the window, At the beauty all around
Listening to the birds singing, What a beautiful sound
Just watching all the children outside at play
Then I go in from the window to knell down to pray
I think I should pray for all the children of today
Just how will the world change, In what way
What will the world be like , When they are grown
When they become adults and are out on their own
I pray for them all, I can`t imagine what it will be like
Will every one park the cars and start riding a bike
Just think there may be no need for diets any more
The food prices keep rising ,So no one can afford
To over eat, Can`t afford the gas so many will be walking
Phone bills going up, can`t afford the long distance talking
I also pray for all people living in today`s world too
The way the prices keep raising, No one knows what to do
There`ll be no social security left for them I hear
I pray for a better world for them year after year
I pray extra prayers for all the children of today
For a better world, It needs to start changing right away
