he keeps the dead company

he keeps the dead company
dressed in black so hard to see

he keeps the dead company
he roams the graveyard as we sleep

he keeps the dead company
those we've lost and buried deep

as he makes his way from stone to stone
do they beneath sense ..... they're not alone

do they feel his quick tread pace
across their final resting place

and when he pauses at each grave
do they hear him squawk and loudly rave

so hard to see dressed in black
who does he call to? .... do they answer back?

dressed in black so hard to see ....

he keeps the dead company
