ACROSS THE SKY
Across The Sky
That beautifully awesome lightning flashes
A few seconds later the mighty thunder rolls
It happens many times before the storm passes
See it, hear it
Many are frighten by the sound and sight
Yet, it reveals God's tremendous power
To me, it makes such a magnificent light
See it, hear it
That thunder makes a horrendous sound
The noise always resounds and rebounds
The echo just rolls round and round
See it, hear it
Lightning flashes, reveal the dark sky
The mighty power of God you can see
It's such an awesome sight for me
See it, hear it
The storm has all passed at last
It came and went so very fast
So, quick, now it is in the past
See it, hear it
But, the clouds soon reconvened
And they all, gathered in, again
A board meeting was called it seemed
See it, hear it
The now broken and crying clouds
Send water falling to the ground
Now, there is hardly a sound
See it, feel it
This time they present a gentle
Drizzle the whole night through
The next morning the sky is blue
See it, feel it
