You've taken the first step toward your dreams,
I am so proud of you as I would be too scared.
Not only did you make the step but all the arrangements.
I know you will go far my love, as you won't give up.
It won't be easy this I do know, a hard road,
You'll come to many conners and crossroads,
Just keep believing in yourself, follow your heart.
Satisfaction comes to those who believe.
Dreamers do a lot of dreaming, but you take action.
I am glad you have that characteristic dear.
It will take you far in your life of dreams.
I know you know I believe in you.
As I watch you go into this line of work,
I feel fear but also such great pride in you.
A career in the arts, an actress and writer.
Seems so fitting for you my daughter.
I know this is just a stepping stone for more,
There is still college and so much life ahead.
Yet I know you are wise beyond your youth.
