I Wait

Your essence invades me
as bees to honey
suckling tender moments
like gushing
waters in a parched
dry environment

With bated breath
I wait
wait for you love
with trembling lips
desiring to taste
your sweetness
once more

As a star falls
from the heavens
and crashes to earth
I explode with the need
to hold you

Holding on to forever
while honey drips
slowly down as moisture
'pon a windowpane
full of condensation

Enveloped in the essence
of our love once more
with trembling lips
to kiss
finding release
within the realm
of bliss!
