Some memories stick in your mind forever
They might be good they might be sad
This one I will never forget
You see my mother-in-law was involved..
She took my son out for a shopping spree
I should have said 'NO'..he was only three
He had a fettish about womens fur coats
His eyes lit up and his hands went out
The touch of fur made his eyes light up
Whoever you were out went his little hand
He would stroke it as if it were his cat
People weren't always happy with that
In a big store on the escalator they were
The lady in front of them had on her fur
My mother-in-law took her eyes off him for a minute
When she looked back he was nowhere to be seen
She noticed the lady in front of her suddenly had movement
In a place that you don't normally move
Then a scream came deep within her throat
Then from under her coat she pulled out my son
He had crawled up inside of her coat unseen
My mother-in-law did not know where he was
With big brown eyes and thumb in his mouth
He said with a grin..'She feels like a mouse'
The whole floor of the store erupted with laughter
The poor lady in question put herself respectable
Looking at my mother-in-law laughed with gusto
'When he grows up you will have to look after him'
When they came home and walked through the door
Mother-in-law trying to keep a stern face
Announced with tears in her eyes
Children do the funniest things
