I carved my own path
My own destiny.
The road to the beginning
of my life.
I had no idea ~ Where it
would take me...
But I had to at least try.
I slipped and fell many times
I cried for I hurt my pride.
I was misguided and collided
head on with my fears.
And when my life~
Suddenly flashed before my eyes.
I was glad I was on my way home!
I let fear into my soul
It really did try and take control...
Of all my emotions that I felt inside
Taking me for a reckless ride ~
Rising me up to the sky
Then dropping me down on to
the ground. Leaving marks
upon my knees and my shins.
I since learnt the hard way around
I have no time or patience for fear
in my life.
I have dealt with the past... Moving on to
Sunnier days and warmer forecasts.
I left fear and cleared the way
for a brighter future.
