LOVE EVERLASTING
Thank you for the years you've given me, thank you for the tears you didn't see,
thank you for the love you've given me,and everlasting it will be.
from childhood sweethearts, until we stand here today
taking our vows once again, to love and honor each other, always.
here, i stand with my heart in my hand, after all these many years, and all those many tears.
Years ago, when our love was new and our hearts was young, so much to look
forward to, so much to do,
we had nothing but time ahead of us, love ahead of us, eyes shining with innocence,
and love's glow between us.
Now, here we are on the eve of yesterday, and the brink of tomorrow.
Our children are all grown, with kids of their own, and yet here we are
with the same love, but stronger, we know each other so much better now and life as well
our love has truly stood the the test of time.
Thank you, my darling, for giving me this wonderful life,
when we were both so young, and making me your wife.
So long ago, and sometime ago, you said, grow old with me, the best is yet to be,
our love has endured the test of time, all obstacles, we have won,
now we know our love will last, until God calls us home.
