Trying to mend a broken heart   To mend a broken heart Is not an easy thing to do? When someone, takes your heart And crushes it It hurts deep down Inside of you They take your heart And break it Leave it in a million pieces On the floor They say they no longer love you Turn and walk out the door Leave you, With a tearstained face And so many questions why What did I do wrong? To make them say Goodbye What happened between us? How did our love die? What did I do wrong? That made you turn away From me Walk out the door With that hurtful word Goodbye What do I do now? Without you Now that you are gone How do I face the world? Now that I Have to face it All Alone Where are you going? Have you found someone new? Will you turn and walk away, From them too Is love to you a game? Do you go around playing? With other people’s hearts Saying to them, what they want to hear But not meaning it From your heart You have caused me to cry And to question myself too am I just to blame For losing you Love is not just one sided It takes two to make it work And two to tear it apart Leaving one with a damaged Broken heart Does your heart hurt? Do you even think about me? Was I just a way to pass the time?
