BEFORE IT'S TO LATE
They are charging a religious man for quoting the bible,
He was voicing his beliefs and defending them.
He is being charged with a hate crime.
Although no hate was preached, just his beliefs.
The subject matter was not what scared me,
What happened to the of freedom of speech.
What if we don't agree with school morals?
Will we be able to voice those opinions?
How long before we are not allowed to pray?
How long before we are hiding our beliefs in fear?
I do not feel I have the right to push them on you.
Why is it so important to say and try to stop mine?
My Father fought a very scary mans war, we won freedom.
Now daily, am seeing it being taken from us.
Will we be in camps for our beliefs, no matter what they may be?
I only pray we find a way to make sense of it before it's to late.
