Fun Time

Relaxing in my big back yard
I heard fun and funky music
There was no one to play me cards
I was feeling sad and homesick

Where could such music be coming from
This question clouded my mind
It certainly wasn't from a sitcom
It caught and helped me unwind

I thought it came from a neighbor
Having a jam session in the yard
I certainly didn't want to belabor
But I loved the music, it was hard

I went down the street in the middle
And what do you think I saw
The guys were playing their fiddles
Picking and grinning, sitting on straw

I joined in and had a good time
Listening to the great music
It was lots of fun, lime and rhyme
I even found a sidekick

Zero to Three
Fun and Funky
