Our Fairytale
Dedicated to My Knight from Your Princess
Once upon a time,
This fairytale began.
The Princess was unhappy.
She desired the love of a gallant man
She found herself entrapped,
In a tower of anger and rage
She longed for a new start
A way to turn a blank page
Negativity overtook her world
Laughter was her fading hope
Finding good in bad situations
Had always helped her to cope
Her strength was diminishing
Her smile wasn't quite as bright
And suddenly, out of nowhere,
Appeared this Majestic Knight
He was so different from her tower
He was what she needed to see
Together they explored their souls
Finding that their love was meant to be
Her smile became so radiant
Her eyes twinkled with delight
He brought sunshine to her world
Providing her with warmth and light
He seemed to know just exactly
What to do to make her swoon
Dedicating his life to her happiness
To him she was the whole of the moon
Their gaze made it apparent
That they loved each other so much
Their magical story provided hope
To everyone whose lives they touched
The Knight felt such love for the Princess
As she smiled at him over and over again
Together they will gallop off into the sunset
Now their Happily Ever After can begin
