In My Dreams

I’ve always been a dreamer
I catch myself sometimes
Just thinking how it would be
If you weren’t just on my mind

But right here beside me
To have and to hold
To spend our lives together
And gracefully grow old

At twighlight when day is done
It all comes to life
For in my dreams you are
Each and every night

You take me in your arms
After walking down the aisle
Kiss me with such passion
Our love knows no denial

But with the morning sun
I awaken all alone
I wish the night could stay
And my love for you be known
