Reawakened By Love
Building up the walls around my heart
Proved to be the ultimate protection
Once the sting of heartbreak left its mark

The battles always choose to be cautious
Assuming trust is not to be given freely

Hidden beneath a shroud of unfeeling armor
Where I would have remained without you

Giving me the courage to light a candle of hope
And consider emerging from my armored hideaway
Until the wall I built crumbled in passionate surrender
At twilight when the day is done I often reflect
On how you rescued me by reawakening my senses
Since we met and to this day you always amaze me
Because you know exactly what I need even when I don't
By tempting me with passions audacious and impetuous
You captured my attention and won my unconquerable soul
