She has found herself a man!
Not just any man...
He still has his own teeth...
and hair!
That's right...
They ran away to Vegas last weekend
and tied the knot...
Yes Betty, I mean they got married!
He is a retired fireman from New York City...
They met two months ago
at her cousin Ernie's funeral...
You remember her cousin?
He was the one who had that little drinking problem...
May he rest in peace...
Anyways...
You know those firemen have great benefits!
And...
According to Louise...Gladys' next door neighbor...
The sounds that she hears
when she leans far enough out her window...
Are just shocking!
It seems the new hubby
has some pretty good benefits
in the bedroom as well!
Margaret...
Close your mouth dear!
Louise heard Gladys screaming out
' Help me Mr. Fireman'
'I am on fire'
No, she wasn't having a hot flash Betty!
They were getting busy...
You do remember that, don't you Betty...
Now, where was I?
Oh, Yes...
Then she heard him saying
' I'm coming baby...I have my hose'
What do you mean...
'I never', Margaret
I'll bet you haven't!
Sigh.....
You just never know about people...
And she sings in the choir at her church...
But you know those Baptists!
You know I would never say anything behind her back...
But I knew being close friends and all...
You two would want to know!
