Into Sunset

He's an equestrian although I've never seen him ride

I can only imagine the stallion galloping, jumping

Running a marathon it's them against the wind

Man and horse no longer a sport it's art in motion

Perhaps the ceremony of it all adds to his gallantry

Like the Knights of ancient times who captured hearts

This time there's no gold to relay no biathlons to win

He alone carries the torch that sets my passions afire

My Zeus has given me the pleasure of tasting heaven

And I savor the precious moments of satisfaction

Until at last our silhouette is cast upon the horizon

As he and I gallop together into the sunset together
