As I was sitting here
Making out “The Bucket List”
I ran across interestingly
“The Poseidon Adventure”
As my mind drifted suddenly to
“The Ten Commandments”
I wondered what it would
Be like to live “Ever After”
Within the greatest of all
Adventures with “Star Wars”
To my dismay
“The Golden Compass”
Gave me a chill
Keeping in mind the
“Diary of a Mad Black Woman”
It helped me to see the hope from
“Daddy’s Little Girls”
Watching and wondering if
“Meet the Browns” was conceivable
Giving into the thrills of
“The Road to Perdition”
I saw the possibilities of
A “Premonition”
To my delight the
“Beverly Hills Cop”
Kept my heart laughin’
I truly love a “White Christmas”
With the embers of
“Terms of Endearment”
As “The Evening Star” keeps
Shooting within the sky
And “Steel Magnolias”
Are truly beautiful flowers
Within 'On Golden Pond'
Within reason “Hope Floats” forever
We can see the beauty of love in
“The Passion of The Christ”
As He died for His friends
“King of Kings” the true
Essence of Sacrifice
So as I believe
“The Prince of Egypt”
Keeps my soul from dying
And “Gone With the Wind”
Shows how strength and
Determination thrives
Then the “Greatest Story Ever Told”
Will be a miracle of life
“The Wizard of Oz” gave me a lift
As the fantasy of the mind grows
