Sweet Blessings
Tongue tied I was unable to express
Exactly how much gratitude I felt
Still today thank you seems simple
Though I utter the words every day
Feeling the need for phrases unspoken
Yet I have no idea where to find them
My heart and soul cry out expressions
That mouth and voice cannot speak
How can I express these declarations
When words alone are not enough
To convey meanings felt so deeply
Continually I struggle for an answer
In my prayers I exclaim my gratitude
Even if I cannot find words to say
My heart speak ascends to heaven
Declaring a revelry of thankfulness
In the graciousness of every blessing
Faith, patience and strength sustain me
As sweet miracles blossom every day
My life unfolds in unimaginable ways
