Denying Temptation

Regrets of a time when innocence was lost,
My Stormy past upon life’s tide I am tossed.
Her smile brings it all rushing back,
And I wonder if it is will power I lack.
I want to remain true to the vows that I gave,
Lately it seems as I am everyone’s slave.
I care for a lot of women and that is trouble.
Now it seems as it is about to double.
I tell my self that I must live in the now,
And try to curb this tide from the past somehow.
You are my wife, my only, for four years,
It seems that we have lasted through many fears.
So as it may lead to my frustration,
I must stand up and deny temptation.
