' THE FINGERS OF GOD '

Hand of God
An hour before dawn
With hidden moonlight
Silvery white clouds
In silence grow
From the heavens He speaks
A great command
A shout as thunder
To nourish the land
His arms reach forth
As streaks in the night
His hands give direction
Gods fingers of light
From his nostrils blast
The winds of storm
Power made known
Earth be warned
The mighty tree sways
Side to side
As seeking out
A place to hide
Shedding leaves
As if in fear
For his presence
Now is near
His fingers tear open
Hidden treasuries of rain
With a shout of His voice
Release waters of life
To bless the earth
Yet once again
Gods grace revealed
With majestic power
Earths life giving blood
In nights darkest hour
