' ALL ALONE '

Shame to a mother when her baby cries
Affection sought she denies
Shame to a father when he runs to hide
Caring for self when his baby cried
A baby cries but cannot speak
Yearning for comfort which it seeks
Reaching for love it cannot find
Tender care that’s never there
When backs are turned as if unaware
Shame to that one who never learns
Though now a man
The love he seeks inside still burns
Caring for self love not to yield
Though now a man his need still feels
Shame to that mother who never learns
Baby now man his heart still spurned

SHORT POEM BY MY SON..CHRIS
*ALL ALONE*
Sitting here all alone
In this house that’s not a home
I need to hear, I need to feel
I need to know if this is real
Sitting here all alone
In this house that’s not a home
I need to know, I need to show
I need something that will grow
Sitting here all alone
I’ve got to find my way back home
A place I can’t remember
A place I can’t forget
I need something to remind me
My time’s not over yet
How my heart aches
With love done wrong
With the tearing apart of that precious bond
Of what should have been
That now is gone
How those painful MEMORIES
LINGER ON
As I sit here, all alone
