The Day We Met
The day we spent together
by the mystic sea and sand
was a day to long remember
it was fantastically grand.
There were others on the beach
but we were in a world of our own
sitting closely together
like we were on a throne.
We talked a lot about dreams
we hoped to accomplish soon
knowing we would be together
to always cuddle and swoon.
We were meant for each other
soul mates are you and I
nothing else was important
as we sat under the blue sky.
We didn't want to leave this place
the peace and love lingers still
as we remember the day we met
and I guess we always will.
