And Where There Is Hate, There Is Me!
Animosity has always followed me
with such authentic grace
where others will agree
I don't belong, within this place.
I accept this fully
and take it on the chin
for I adhere to fact
and all that lays within.
No adverse feelings here
of ill intent or such
for I do here affirm
I hold no special touch.
I won't allow others
to place my works asunder
for I am proud of what I pen
from the reaches of Down Under.
People sometimes astonish me
with their belittling way
but I live to pen and fight
with yet, another day.
I may attract deep gossip
and sometimes even more
but that's what comes with all
behind poetics's door.
