Behold The Power Of A Dream

Albert Victor had a vision
A way he looked at life
Where all men were his brothers
No need for stress or strife

He loved the power of poetry
The thought one could convey
So he ventured to the internet
And founded this café

At first it was a small thing
That so quickly, quickly grew
To become the best of poem sites
Most poets ever knew

It had all of the enhancements
That anyone could use
Meant to adorn their poems
He allowed no one to abuse

He served as mentor
Teacher, instructor and as friend
The café door stood open
He was there to let us in

When illness came to touch him
He shared with us the way
The sickness tore his body
Until he passed away

Two men then saw his vision
So Albert’s dream lived on
We poets come to congregate
And share each others songs

We’re a big worldwide community
Who might never share a screen
Except for Albert Victor,
One man who dared to dream
