all dead

I look in my head
and examine my motives
I hide from my heart
ignoring my feelings
This interest I have
is not quite appropriate
This fantasy wicked
I must not give in
I look at my life
and examine experience
Dismiss what I wanted
and share what I had
I look in my mirror
and cry for the losses
My pride and my innocence
have left me all dead
