FIVE DAYS IN THE SEA

There is something about the smells of the sea.
The fresh air is cleansing for you and me.
I spent five days on a ship out in the ocean.
At first I was seasick by the up and down motion.
Almost released from the Army duty, I felt free.

There is something about salt water that smells.
The water in the sea smells different than wells.
But is it the salt water, or is it all the fish?
Fish smells different cooked and placed on a dish.
I like all the sea stories that fishermen can tell.

The salt in the sea cleared my sinuses up.
There were no more sneezing to interrupt.
So if you have sinus problems, join the navy.
They also have the best meat and gravy.
Now I must end this poem and go sup!

Well, I`ve rested and I`ve had my sup.
What a day for a daydream, I won`t give up.
Since I missed out on the challenge: sea smells,
The sea is rough at times with stormy gales.
As the sea takes in water, I`ll take in another gulp.
