Until Recently…
I loved you
Before I knew
Your name or saw your face…
You have always
Been a part of me,
But this I did not see…
Until recently.
I have felt your touch on the wind
And again
In my dreams…
I have seen your name
Written in clouds night and day…
And heard it spoken softly
In sea spray
And sung by waterfall and stream.
I have seen your eyes
In the blue of the ocean,
A rose in the blush of your skin
And sunrise in your smile and sigh…
But I never knew
It was you…
