The Stalker

Watching you from a distance,
With love within my eyes.
Another day another lifetime,
More truths and more lies.
Watching you from my window,
Knowing not when we will meet.
Another day you passing by,
The sidewalk on my street.
I’d leave my house and go to see you,
But alas I lost my nerve.
By the time that I gain it again,
You have gone around the curve.
Watching you every day,
And I wonder who you are,
Some would say I am spying on you,
But I am admiring from a far.
Only I know what I feel,
I want to confess it to you
But I always lose my cool.
And embarrassment runs me through.
Seeing you time and again,
Whatever should this man do?
Everyday I am waiting by my window,
To catch a glimpse of you.
