THAR ARE MIGHTY MOUNTAINS

When I feel down and lonely
The world seems weak and small
I jus look at them mountains thar He made
An they open these sore eyes for sure

They suffer through the hail, the storms
People blast roads right through 'em
Where is the day respect for power
And beauty now seems more like sin

The strength of mountains overrides
The strength of any man
I wish I was bac' in thar hills
Where life is as God planned

They've put in roads and many things
But ya can't go thar no mor
Just to absorb their beauty
People flock there to explore

There's big events and music thrills
There's rides n lots of shows
Somehow I don't think God made em
For that - now - I jus know

I see them as His power and strength
Those mountains thar kin show
How Great is our dear - 'Thou Art'
For those who jus don't know

Those mountains thar kin take me
And put me humble on these knees
An God if I can help you some
You let me know ... just please

I'm tryin harder to listen
And I'm always keepin trak
On what all You gave to us
An how little You got back

You are a child of the universe
No less than the moon and the stars
That is why I chose you, love
To write what we'd call 'OURS'
