CLIMBING THE LADDER

When I was a boy my granddad had this saying,
''Reach for the stars,
even if you don`t reach the wood pile.''
I looked at that wood pile. I was already above it.

Later on in life, I knew what he meant.
Well, I didn`t reach the stars but maybe the trees.
But I still have a chance. I`m not dead yet.
Colonel Sanders made his fortune after retirement.

Whether I make it or not in this life,
One day, when this life is over,
I will reach out and touch the stars.
I will go far beyond Mars.

The Son of God will take me to His throne.
To all who go, God will make Himself known.

[ Reach out and touch the stars ]
