Oh I have some
Way down past my ass
It can be a pain at times
I tell you that
But I love my hair
I truly do
It is,
The favorite part of me
I like
Sad but true
It is black
Flows long and smoothly
Down my back
It’s a pain to wash
Takes so long
Tires the arms to comb
Gets in the way
When it’s time to do
Some things
Have to pull it to the side
Before I can do some things
When going to the bathroom
Have to hold it up
Or it will land
Write in the toilet bowl
That would be a mess
You know
I keep it long
Cause I like it
I like to stand out in the crowd
I like to look different
Than anyone else
And when the hair is real short
Sometimes it’s hard to tell
If one is
A boy or a girl
Not that the hair,
will give you that answer
Some guys have long hair too
But I truly have always
Loved my hair long
Though it’s a pain at times
